Parking Lots

Parking lot areas in Waverly are governed by Section 100.19 of the Waverly City Code.  Depending on the use of the property, the parking regulations are governed by various considerations for retail, office, service, government and residential applications. The application fee is $10 per 1,000 square feet of new paved area.

Parking Lot Permit Application

Parking lot areas shall be no closer than five (5) feet from any established street right-of-way or alley line.  In case the parking lot adjoins an "R" district, it shall be set back at least five (5) feet from the "R" district boundary and shall be effectively screen-planted.

A permit application may be made by supplying the Zoning Office with the following:

• Dimensioned site plan showing drive access areas and proposed lighting (click here to view)
• Application fee ($10 per 1,000 square feet of proposed paved area)
