Waverly Chamber Ambassadors Recognize Area Businesses

Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently presented Progress Awards to three local businesses.

The Ambassadors presented Terri Negan, owner of The Wash House Salon at 409 W. Bremer Ave. in Waverly, with a Progress Award to celebrate her 15th anniversary in business. The Ambassadors presented representatives of North Star Community Services at 219 20th St. NW in Waverly, with a Progress Award to celebrate their 35th anniversary. The Ambassadors presented Heather Wagner, Director of Waverly Child Care & Preschool at 312 9th St. SW, with a progress award to celebrate the expansion and remodel of their facility that was completed recently. The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Program serves as a public relations arm of the Waverly Chamber by welcoming new businesses, recognizing business expansion efforts, and recruiting new members to the organization.
