Spring Special Collections

To assist residents with their spring cleaning, the City of Waverly hosts special collection weeks each year.

During our special collection, bulky items will be picked up from your curb at the regular landfill charge rate.  Residents who want to take advantage of the program will need to schedule the pickup and make payment arrangements for each bulky item to be picked up. 

Some of the common bulky item landfill charges are:

• Appliances (refrigerator, stove, etc.) - $15 each
• TVs and Computer Monitors - $15 each
• Furniture, Computers, Printers - $5 each piece
• Grills, Lawn Mowers, Bikes - $3 each

Hazardous materials, demolition and construction materials cannot be picked up through this program.

Yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste) must be bagged in biodegradable bags. 

Brush and sticks must be tied into bundles that are no larger than 4 feet in length, 1 ½ feet in diameter and weigh no more than 50 pounds.

Place yard waste materials at your curb on your regular garbage collection day.

Items that are not in biodegradable bags, or bundled as described above will not be picked up.
